Pentax announced the world’s only DSLR designed exclusively for black and white photography

Ricoh Imaging has announced the Pentax K-3 Mark III Monochrome. The new DSLR combines many of the features of the company’s flagship APS-C DSLR, the K-3 III, with a newly developed monochromatic image sensor, making it the world’s only DSLR designed for black and white imagery.

Former ABC News journalist and father-of-two James Gordan Meek has pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography.

During a court hearing in Alexandria on Friday, the 53-year-old formerly decorated reporter from Arlington, Virginia, admitted possessing dozens of inappropriate images and videos of children spanning at least the last nine years.

The human-chimp bond captured in an iconic photo

The photo, taken in 1964, was first published in National Geographic magazine in December 1965. Another photo of Goodall studying the Gombe chimpanzees was on the front cover and published as part of van Lawick’s photo series titled “New Discoveries Among Africa’s Chimpanzees”. That same year, National Geographic released Miss Goodall and the Wild Chimpanzees, the first of many documentaries showing Goodall’s research.
