The “Havana” singer, 26, posed in a fiery bikini pic posted to her Instagram on Monday, putting her curves on display. She glowed as she emerged from the ocean in a tiny black and red two-piece.

Ken Lum wins $50,000 Scotiabank Photography Award

TORONTO — Vancouver artist Ken Lum has won the Scotiabank Photography Award.

In addition to $50,000, the honor nets the photographer a solo exhibition at the Scotiabank Contact Photography Festival in 2024 and a published book of his work, to be distributed worldwide.

Prize organizers say Lum uses his art to express his dissatisfaction with the world.

Laura Curtis Ferrera, Scotiabank’s chief marketing officer, says Lum’s works have “inspired a global audience,” including through permanent public art installations.

Runners-up Sandra Brewster and Chris Currieri, who are both from Toronto, will each receive $10,000.

Former Stourbridge and Dudley News photographer dies aged 73

phil loachA chief photographer who worked in the regional press for 45 years has died aged 73.

Tributes have been paid to Phil Loach, who served titles across the West Midlands during his working life.

Phil, pictured, worked on his hometown paper the Dudley Herald and later Stourbridge’s County Express, where he became chief photographer.

For several years he operated as a freelance and then joined Newsquest where he became chief photographer for the Stourbridge, Dudley and Halesowen News titles.

Phil, who lived in Tenbury Wells, died at Hereford County Hospital on Wednesday after a 16-month illness.
